There has been tons of progress with the Big and Little Crochet throw making. I've managed to work together my first 13 hexagons and have completed all of the hexagons and half hexagons to date. I'm pretty sure we'll be getting some instruction on how to piece more together and we should have a good third of the throw completed. It's going to be a beautiful piece when it's done and I've thoroughly enjoyed working on it so far.

I've really returned to crochet as my first love in terms of crafting. Papercraft took over fo...

On Saturday I held a bonanza on my You Tube channel. I uploaded 13 videos in 12 hours! What a feat that was.  The reason for it was that I decided to review a selection of 12 craft kits for kids which are on sale at The Works for just £1 - £3 with most coming in at £1.  I wondered how good these kits could be for that money and just what aged kids they would be suitable for.

At the end of the 12 kit reviews where I actually made up one of each item I uploaded a round up and announced a giveaway of a selection of Th...

Another thing I've been doing over on www.craftylittleblog.com is getting into scrapbooking in a big way. I am really enjoying storing precious photos and memories in such a beautiful way and have made quite a few lay outs now which are shared in a play list on my You Tube channel

Go and check them out or just have a browse at what I've made so far in this gallery.

Thanks for dropping in as always.

Since I separated out my papercraft from my other craft on a different blog over at www.craftylittleblog.com and also on Facebook with my papercrafting being on Crafty Little Paper Things I sometimes forget to cross reference back to here, the heart and home of everything.

So I just thought I'd update you with a couple of posts on what's going on over in my papercrafting world.

The first thing I wanted to share was my Christmas prep. I'm notorious for leaving things to the last minute so was delighted when Fiona from Th...

Just thought I'd write a round up of what's been going on in my paper crafting world this past 7 days.

I was on a mission to try out new fold designs in the card making aspect of my journey into trying new crafts and it was perhaps more successful than I'd imagined it would be in that for one it was so much easier than I thought it might be and secondly it was so well received with lots of people liking the creations.

I have blogged each day over on my Crafty Little Blog site which is my dedicated paper craft blog and I'...

I had a real blitz of paper craft projects to bring in the new year which I blogged about on my paper craft blog at www.craftylittleblog.com and also shared as tutorials on the Crafty Little Things UK You Tube Channel. I've embedded my favourite project here and included a gallery of the other projects below.

I thought I'd do a round up here as some of them will be used to package Crafty Little Things products in 2018 and some may even make it into our store as products so you might want to take a look. This week I'm sh...

Over on the paper craft blog and on our You Tube channel there is something special going on... we're uploading amaterish videos every day for 7 days and ending the series off with a giveaway.

Here's day one's card and an exclusive sneak peak of day two's.

To help us choose the best design for our Christmas Cheer event card we're putting out 7 simple, easy to make card designs which are perfect for batch making. Each one has a prototype which we show at the beginning of the video and then we work through a variation of t...

I'm on a bit of a roll with card making challenges this week so how about another one? This is pushing me out of my comfort zone of basic fold cards and I loved making it! Challenges really are worth taking part in if you just want a reason to craft or to improve skills.

This time, card making novice me, decided to have a go at something a bit more tricky so I opted for a diamond fold card and for a very first attempt I was thrilled with myself! No shame in being proud of something you've achieved or learned, no shame a...

If you haven't joined The Joy of Sets Facebook Group already then what are you waiting for? All you need is some Stampin' Up! stash, current or retired and a camera and you can join in with the fun.

Besides the stamp set albums where you can upload your stamp set themed creations any time you wish to inspire or amaze your fellow crafters there is a monthly challenge which sees anyone who wants to participate making a card which reflects in some way that month's birth stone - I won last month with my Ruby inspired card a...

I love that I can combine three of my passions into one so often when I'm making gifts for customers.

This recent make is a perfect example.  A pair of cute little crocheted newborn booties in a hand made box and set up for a really enjoyable photo shoot.

You may have seen versions of these crocodile stitch booties around on Pinterest but I could not find a pattern so I went ahead and made it up as I went along. I'm pretty sure that once you are familiar with making baby shoes and booties and you've learned to recognise...
