Watercolour Card

May 20, 2017

Here's my May contribution to Ann's Happy Stamper's team card swap challenge. The theme chosen by Steph was watercolour.

I'm a very simple soul and new to this card making word and so my card reflects that simplicity. I used very vanilla thick card stock and layered on a piece of designer series paper from the Pick a Pattern stack (available from my online shop from June 1st). I stamped a piece of Stampin' Up! watercolour paper with an image from the Butterfly Basics stamp set using Wisteria Wonder ink and then used Emerald Envy, Wisteria Wonder and Powder Pink inks and a Stampin' Up! Aqua painter to create my water colour effect on the flower.

So simple and fresh looking. I love the Emerald Envy on the DSP against the Very Vanilla cardstock.

I popped the finished card into a Very Vanilla envelope from Stampin' Up!

Everything is linked below if you want to grab yourself some supplies to make your own.

Thanks for dropping in.
