Niffler Amigurumi

June 23, 2017

Someone asked if I could make a Niffler.  "A what?!"

Turns out (and now I know as I've watched the film) that a Niffler is one of the weird fantastical creatures from the recent movie from the Harry Potter series. A cute little mole like creature that loves to steal (collect) sparkly shiny things.

So here he is, my take on a Niffler. I used some images for inspiration from Pinterest and eventually bought a pattern to follow from Etsy and although I didn't follow it to the letter it was really useful for the snout especially.

Love making cute little things, especially if they make someone else happy. I made this using Stylecraft Special DK and my eyesight just about coped with crocheting in black (something I sometimes struggle with).

Hope you're feeling inspired to dig out your hooks now or to watch the movie!

Have a great weekend.
