Sweetest Unicorn

June 23, 2017

Say hello to our latest addition. This gorgeous crocheted unicorn was adapted from a design by The Clumsy Unicorn whose patterns are available to buy on Etsy. We will be taking commissions for a limited number of finished unicorns from our online store from next month.

Using Stylecraft Special DK 100% Acryclic yarns and firmly stuffed it has semi-poseable arms and legs and gorgeous mane and tail made of generous curls which were made simply by creating a base chain and then crocheting 2 single crochet (US terms) into each stitch along. Leaving a 10cm tail on each one allowed for attaching using a yarn needle and for he ends to be 'lost' in the body of the project.

Eyes are safety eyes but the nostrils and mouth are sewn on using a black Stylecraft Special DK yarn.

Such a cutie and as mentioned above will be available as a limited edition customer commission on our website soon. We're also working on designing our own small version for a really special purpose... so watch out for that and all will become clear. We also intend to share the pattern with our subscribers free of charge when it is completed and offer it for sale via our website as an instant download.

Thanks for dropping in. Have a great Friday!
