Granny Square Tutorial

November 12, 2017

Today on our Crafty Little Things You Tube channel we have a Granny Square Tutorial. It's such a simple beginners level project but so versatile as the granny square can be used to make so many things. We chose it as our first beginners project for that reason, a beginner can roll with it and keep on going and going until they've made a cushion cover or go further until they've made a blanket.

When you've learning a new craft it's important to feel that you're actually getting somewhere and being able to start and finish a project is important, so now our beginners can do just that.

We've also uploaded a couple of quick videos on how to change colour and how to stitch granny squares together so there really is no stopping anyone who wants to learn from producing their first crocheted piece.

Besides that we have also launched our Crochet Giveaway today which contains everything a beginner would need and more to start off. Go to our You Tube video to find out more about that or to this blog post.

Here's the PDF free download pattern for the granny square we made, there are variations on this popular favourite but this is the way we chose to make it, it keeps it nice and simple

Enjoy!
