4T's Diabetes Challenge

February 14, 2018

Today we're joining in with the Make That Change Trust's challenge to businesses, schools, hospitals, surgeries... anywhere where people may see it, to post the 4 signs of type 1 diabetes poster created by Diabetes UK.

The point of the challenge is to have people across the UK putting up posters in an effort to reduce incorrect diagnosis or missed symptoms in their own children and young people. The trust was established in memory of Ben who died at just 18 as a result of misdiagnosis.

That should never happen again.

We popped our poster on the wall earlier and added our hash tagged post to Instagram

Please consider joining the campaign, it's simple, download or ask for a poster to be sent to you and then take a photo of yourself putting it in place or of it in place and share that on social media using the hashtag #MTCwhereisyour4ts  After 50 posts have been spotted by the trust they will select their favourite photo to win a prize (more on our involvement with that later).

You can change the world, you can save a life by just putting up one poster in a public place and you can change even more lives if you share and ask someone to pop a poster up in your area.
