Daisy Coaster Crochet Tutorial

April 23, 2018

I couldn't resist sharing my favourite coasters with you. Now the weather has finally allowed us to step outside and enjoy our gardens in the UK we want those spaces to look as pretty and inviting as our indoor spaces. These coasters are my go to staple outdoor coaster. Outdoor furniture needs protecting from coffee and tea rings and spilled sugary drinks just as much as that indoors and these are a fun choice to catch all of those spills.

They can be used as they are and popped into a quick wash at the end of the day or they can be coated in PVA or good old Mod Podge and made into wipeable wonders.

You can make a set of these using different coloured centres to add extra interest and why stop at using them as coasters?

They can be popped over a drink to prevent flies from going for a swim, they can be strung up as colourful bunting or sewn onto patio cushions and pillows or even hung from parasols... there are endless ways to use these in your garden or home this summer and they are so easy to make.

I don't have the written pattern ready yet but don't let that stop you, the tutorial is live now on my You Tube channel.

Have fun making these and have a great week!
