Yarn Haul and Ben's Beanies Update

July 23, 2018

I've shared some bargain yarn finds over on my You Tube channel this week. First up was this gorgeous Patons yarn from Love Crochet which I snaffled plenty of in each of these shades for just 51p each!

Then before I'd overcome the excitement from that I found this gorgeous Sidar Snuggly bamboo/wool blend in this gorgeously now Olive Green shade for just £1 per 50g ball. This was in the sale at The Wool Factory.

Next I headed to Marriner Yarns, one of my favourites for value and I picked up some deliciously modern shades and traditionals in this chunky acrylic at the standard price of just £1.25 per 100gms!

I mean at these prices people need to get crocheting more. It's always worth looking around for clearance, sales and bargain offers you can save a fortune on your stash.

I've also started on Ben's Beanies challenge (go here if you don't know what I'm talking about) and I've made two beanies so far, a lovely lilac one with floppy flower for a young lady and this brown shade with a cute easy ribbed trim for an adult male.  Both have tutorials on my You Tube channel

.Please consider joining in with the Ben's Beanies project it's for a great cause, makes you feel good and helps someone less fortunate.

The hat at the bottom is from a pattern by Mango Tree Crafts and was used and the video tutorial filmed with permission of the owner the lovely Lily. Check out her blog she has some amazing patterns.

Have a great week if the heat doesn't get to you!
