Christmas in the Summer

August 4, 2018

Since I separated out my papercraft from my other craft on a different blog over at www.craftylittleblog.com and also on Facebook with my papercrafting being on Crafty Little Paper Things I sometimes forget to cross reference back to here, the heart and home of everything.

So I just thought I'd update you with a couple of posts on what's going on over in my papercrafting world.

The first thing I wanted to share was my Christmas prep. I'm notorious for leaving things to the last minute so was delighted when Fiona from The Joy of Sets Facebook group suggested opening up a Christmas Album in the group for us all to start popping ideas and inspiration for Christmas cards into. I don't remember if I imagined it of if she suggested we try to add a card a week to the album so that we have a stash made by December and we have a nicely populated inspirational album.

Either way, I decided to make a card every Sunday to share on my You Tube channel and I have a play list on there with my 2018 Christmas Cards which I also share in the Joy of Sets Christmas 2018 album.

So do go and check that out or why not join in with the Joy of Sets fun yourself. It's a great group, with fabulous, supportive, genuine, craft lovers who mainly use Stampin' Up! products but not exclusively. it is an album based group so you are encouraged to share what you make into relevant albums and then they serve as an excellent point of reference for anyone who has a particular stamp set or DSP and is looking for inspiration. There is also a RAK group and birthday group, we have regular swaps, monthly challenges and on the spot challenges too and recently we had a fabulously successful blog hop.
